Hoedies & Herholdt started as a very small venture in 2013 when owner, Salomé Herholdt, needed to supplement her income. University fees took their toll, and times were tough. While working at a mango drying facility in Hoedspruit, she began selling dried mangoes in Pretoria to friends and family. In 2020, nuts were introduced to the brand, and Hoedies officially kicked off as a viable sideline income.
